- You can obtain an uncontested
divorce in Nevada within a very short period of time?
- My rates for the divorce itself
are very reasonable: $1,000 including filing fees. Cases
which are contested, involve children and settlement agreements

You (or your spouse) do
have to be a resident for 6 weeks in order
to get a divorce in Nevada and sign an affidavit or
testify to that effect and have a resident witness sign
a similar affidavit or give testimony. |

If you were married in Nevada then
you can get an annulment on grounds without
the necessity of residency or a resident witness. Grounds
may be misrepresentation, incapacity, already married, any
reasons to rescind a contract in equity, etc.
You cannot get an annulment of a marriage
outside Nevada unless you are a resident. A judge may require
a prove up hearing where you and your witness have to come
to Court to testify at a 10 minute hearing. Remember that
if you are the party in another state and your spouse
lives here and files here, you subject your property, debt,
children, and support to Nevada's jurisdiction if you file an

Information I need would be you and your spouse's
name, address, phone number and social security numbers; the
date and place of your marriage; the division of any property
and debts; the amount and duration of spousal support, if any,
and child support; the names security numbers and birthdates
of any children; and, child custody and specific visitation terms.

to take the mandatory Transparenting course which is 3 hours

required for collection of child support which requires us to
list the parents' drivers licenses' numbers, employer's
name, employer's address and phone number, ethnicity of parents,
whether the case involves domestic violence or the need for services.
